Despite being a potentially preventable disease, Cervical Cancer remains, for several reasons, one of the most important causes of mortality and morbidity in Nigeria. To address this, we present the 1st edition of the Cervical Cancer Conference 2019 with the theme "Towards Better Prevention and Detection of Cervical Cancer" Supported by the University College London Global Funding Programme, this one day conference will feature presenters from University College London Hospital and leading hospitals in Nigeria to establish best practice with Gynaecologists and Pathologists in the prevention of Cervical Cancer.
